The school’s faculty are highly qualified and have many years of clinical experience. Our teachers have successful practices as professional homeopaths. Every member of our staff brings their own unique method of teaching and experience of homeopathy to the classroom. With each faculty member offering a different perspective on the material, it provides the students a greater variety of perceptions into homeopathic remedies, prescribing strategies and different approaches to case taking techniques. We believe this variety in teaching styles gives our students a complete and well-rounded education.

Kate Volpe D.Hom
Faculty Member & Dean of Students
My interest in homeopathy began long before I became a homeopath, the first time I saw those “little blue tubes” at a health food market in my hometown on the East Coast. I would spend many nights searching the internet for homeopathic remedies and how to use them. Many years later after moving to Los Angeles I was able to visit my first homeopath as a patient. Through her, and homeopathy, I was able to find relief form all of the little things happening in my body that my Medical Doctors told me were normal or that they had no answer as to a cause or a solution. Not only did my physical body begin to heal, I began to heal deep grief and trauma that were affecting my emotions as well. I was able to better handle stress and complex situations. I was finally able to feel comfortable in my skin, and in control of my life.
Because of these personal results, I made the decision to change careers mid-life. I wanted to know as much as I could about this form of healing, and to have the knowledge and experience to help others. I am a graduate of the Los Angeles School of Homeopathy and hold a Diploma of Homeopathy. I have had the opportunity to study with many great Homeopaths including Roger Morrison, Miranda Castro & Richard Pitt. I am a Member of the California Homeopathic Medical Society, and continue to learn, attend webinars, seminars and conferences. I am currently working toward the requirements for AIHC (International Classical Homeopath certification) & CHC (Board Certified Classical Homeopath Certification).
In addition to working one on one with clients on a more personal and detailed way, I also work at the Santa Monica Homeopathic Pharmacy, a natural pharmacy for over 75 years, helping customers with general acute conditions. I enjoy working with both humans and animals, and specialize in anxiety and stress related illnesses. Visit https://www.almahomeopathy.com/
